Description

In this CPD presentation we bring to you our industry experience and knowledge gained, on how to address acoustic requirements and challenges in commercial fitouts.  We look at how to insulate and mitigate sound transfer through glazed walls and doors.  We provide real life examples of challenges faced, how they were overcome and how to avoid them in future projects.

At the end of this presentation you should be able to:

  • Explain the importance of acoustics when designing a space
  • Define the measurement of sound
  • Evaluate and implement double glazing for improved acoustics
  • Identify risk areas for sound transfer
  • Identify and evaluate other factors that affect sound in a space
